At Highlander Holsters (www.highlanderholsters.co.za) (www.highlanderholsters.co.za), we aim to deliver your Kydex holsters promptly and securely across South Africa. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping methods, costs, delivery times, and related processes to ensure a smooth experience.
2. Shipping Methods and Costs
- Standard Shipping: We use The Courier Guy for most deliveries within South Africa. The standard shipping fee is R120, selected at checkout.
- Custom Orders: For specialized or bulk orders (e.g., duty holsters for SAPS or security firms), shipping costs may vary based on size, weight, or destination. We’ll provide a quote via email.
- International Shipping: Currently, we ship only within South Africa. Contact us at info@highlanderholsters.co.za if you’re outside South Africa and interested in our products.
3. Order Processing
- Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation via PayFast. Made-to-order holsters (e.g., for specific firearms like Staccato, or many light-bearing options) may take 5–7 business days to process due to our in-house moulding and thermoforming.
- At present, our Duty Holsters take a bit longer and we have extended our lead-time to 21 days, but this is generally completed and shipped within 7 days.
- Confirmation: You’ll receive an order confirmation email with tracking details once your order is handed over to The Courier Guy.
4. Delivery Times
- South Africa: Most deliveries via The Courier Guy take 1–3 business days after dispatch, depending on your location (e.g., major cities like Durban or Johannesburg may be faster than remote areas).
- Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, factors like courier delays, public holidays, or unforeseen events may affect delivery times. We’ll keep you updated via email if delays occur.
- Tracking: Use the tracking number provided in your confirmation email to monitor your shipment on The Courier Guy’s website.
5. Shipping Restrictions
- We comply with South African laws, including the Firearms Control Act, when shipping holsters. Some products may require verification (e.g., for law enforcement or security clients). Contact us at info@highlanderholsters.co.za if you have specific requirements.
- Deliveries are made to physical addresses only; PO Boxes are not supported by The Courier Guy.
6. Damaged or Lost Shipments
- Damaged Items: If your holster arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery at info@highlanderholsters.co.za with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund per our returns policy, with return shipping covered.
- Lost Shipments: If your order doesn’t arrive within 10 business days of dispatch, contact us, and we’ll work with The Courier Guy to investigate. We’ll provide a replacement or refund if the shipment is confirmed lost.
7. Returns and Shipping
- Per our returns policy and the Consumer Protection Act, you may return eligible products within 7 days of delivery. You’re responsible for return shipping costs (via The Courier Guy or another courier) unless the item is defective or incorrect. See our Returns Policy for full return details.
- For warranty claims (e.g., damaged holsters within 0–2 years), we cover return shipping for replacements. Email info@highlanderholsters.co.za to initiate.
