Highlander Level II Retention Kydex Duty Holster
Fitted with Highlander's Proprietary Level II Retention Hood
- Material: The holster is made from 0.125" (3mm) Kydex® T, with the Level II Retention Hood constructed from ASA and Carbon Fibre Nylon for enhanced durability and strength.
- Level 1 Retention: All Highlander holsters feature reliable passive retention on the trigger guard or light, ensuring the pistol stays secure without active mechanisms. This retention can be adjusted to the user's preference.
- Level 2 Retention: The hood is manually engaged by pulling it back and can be disengaged as needed. It uses powerful springs to snap the hood forward quickly for a quick and seamless draw.
- Thumb Action: The hood is disengaged with a forward and downward thumb motion on the button, unlike alternative hood designs that require sideways or backward thumb movement. This design avoids interfering with a proper grip on the pistol.
- Self-Cleaning Hood: Features minimal moving parts—no spring-loaded balls or lubricated steel plates—needing no oil or grease, only occasional water flushing in extreme cases.
- Fail-Safe Mechanism: Ensures the pistol can still be drawn if the mechanism fails, prioritizing reliability.
- Versatile Mounting Options: Compatible with Safariland or Combat Loop Hole Patterns for flexible mounting.

For a complete, ready-to-use setup, choose a holster with a UBL or combat loop belt attachment.
The QLS (Quick Locking System) fork and receiver enable holster swapping while using the same belt mount and extend the holster outward for better compatibility with body armour.
A thigh strap is recommended to prevent holster movement during the draw, ensuring stability and reliability.
Note: that the holsters shown do not have a Level II retention hood attached.
